The Big Issue’s social investment arm Big Issue Invest (BII) has vowed to invest £400,000 in a bid to help people recovering from drug and alcohol abuse find work.
Working alongside WDP, a charity that helps people affected by substance misuse, the investment will be used to enable more than 1,7000 people across eight London boroughs to find work, reported The Big Issue.
